Inside Out 2 is better than I thought, but I think "Turning Red" (also from Pixar) did a better job with basically the same story about puberty and anxiety, and it's been out for a couple of years, now. FLCL (Fooly-Cooly) also does a good job with a story about male puberty specifically, but of course Studio Gainax's stuff isn't nearly as simple or family-friendly as Pixar's stuff, so don't watch FLCL in front of your parents, of course.
Also, I keep forgetting that companies like Disney and Sony don't sell their stuff to every country in the world. As an American, I have the "privilege" of paying way too much for movie tickets just to watch Inside Out 2 legally. I was being sarcastic when I said it was a "privilege," Ennui taught me how to do sarcasm in Inside Out 2.
