Basically think of the story of Noah's Ark, but the humans were wiped out, so animals basically have to fend for themselves during the flood. The main character, a little black kitty, is adorable and meets some very fascinating animals that help it reach the highest point, where the water can't reach them. It's a master class of dialogue-free animation, not only making it more accessible for people outside of the countries it was made in (Latvia, France, I think Hungary), but the emotional beats seem to hit much harder than if they were magical talking animals that spoon-feed exposition to you.
