The backgrounds really add to the piece, I really should try to be less lazy with my own art submissions and their backgrounds.

Also, clearly I've been away from the Pokémon series too long (haven't really played since the Game Boy Advance days). It feels like Game Freak is putting more effort in the female character designs these days than the actual "pocket monster" critters...
