This is something my highschool era OCs (Mr. Needle, Pershey, Monique, etc) would tell me. Then gripe I never got that Cartoon Network job so I could fulfill my promise of making an ambitious multi-season show and TV movie with them, and now Cartoon Network and Western cable TV animation in general is rapidly declining in relevance overall!
