After looking at some of those Egg Memos, I’m convinced Dr. Eggman is a bit of a “Neckbeard” and wants Sage to look like this. I love when otherwise family-friendly games and cartoons slip in adult jokes like this, Ian Flynn was definitely the right choice for Sonic Frontiers!

Thought she was that magical girl from that Disney Channel cartoon in the late 2010's at first. Or Zero Two from Darling in the Franxx.

Once again, I would definitely watch an anime in this style. And I need to get a Crunchyroll subscription again so I can (legally) watch anime made in the last 5 years and actually recognize these characters for once!
