Always found the whole calling stuff "CalArts" lazy criticism. Ive not seen this for this game so far thankfully. Its probably one of my favorite games to come out this year visually. I'm loving how modern games are pushing pixel art games visual style much further than simply trying to re-create classic game visuals.

So glad I went quiet for a week to play through Deltarune Chapter 2. Besides being so fun that I should re-play it at a more relaxed pace, I am loving all the art for it that I can safely look at (without spoiling what I already know about the story)!

This design is the best. Kind of reminds me of a character I drew in high school called "Daschund Man," who has a Jojo-esque manly face, but the rest of his body is just a simplified wiener-dog body. Also, his Jojo-esque face looks like it's being eaten alive by the Daschund's face. It was exactly as creepy as I made it sound.
