I was quite "Dreadful" at the Metroid Dread demo and then paid $60 to get the full game and not make it much farther than the demo, anyway.

I am smart with my money.

Also, short-hair Samus looks like the "Hero's Duty" lady from Wreck-It Ralph, but cuter.

Gx3RComics responds:

Oof- Get back on Dread! It's fantastic! I think it's one of my top Metroid games for sure, the only major thing lacking is the music is more ambient & there vs some of the more . . . obvious? tunes? IDK it was so much fun.
Ey thanks, IDK for me when I see her with her long hair I'm just like- Samus, how, do you fit all that in that little helmet? Which is silly given she wouldn't fit in any of her suits full stop. She's over 6ft tall- but her shoulders were connected last time I checked :V

MUSCLES MUSCLES MUSCLES MUSCLES!!

Also, STILL gotta play Freedom Planet 2 at some point. Would probably be a more enjoyable use of my free time than whatever SEGA did to the final boss fights in Sonic Superstars and Frontiers: Final Horizon.

Gx3RComics responds:

Yeah I've heard Superstars is very ok, not worth the full price.
FP2 I can recommend, especially after they've patched it a bunch recently adding a tutorial to explain the guard mechanic a bit better. Because I beat the game and it wasn't exactly clear how it worked but after I check that out? Yeah it's fuuuun. Music is E X C E L L E N T

Thanks for checkin' out the piece! More B E E F soon.

I remember those Archie comics my Dad would get me from the grocery store were obnoxiously tame and P.C., except for two big, huge reasons. The "Archie style" is such an underrated style for pin-ups, I'd love to see more of it here!

Betty and Veronica will change your life yeah

I actually learned a bit about Lunar New Year at work this past week! Happy Lunar New Year, everyone!

Finasty responds:

You should do it too if you want!

That depends on the polygon count of the steak. The last dinner in the pilot was a bit Nintendo 64-ish, I'd say.

HOwLiNG-MAdFoxHatter responds:

This one will be Gamecube level poly count, so little higher

This is absolutely beautiful. Made my entire week already! You know you've got this "pixel art" thing figured out when, at first glance, it looks more like an oil painting than a digital piece! The artist(s) of the Amiga classic "Shadow of the Beast" would be proud!

SuperPhil64 responds:

Aww thanks dude, that's a big compliment! I do wish I could oil paint for real, but at least I can approximate it with pixels haha.

Me when I'm 1.5 days into my self-imposed art/mental-health weekend break. You cannot contain the artist brain, dawg!!

Framed51 responds:

hell ye

The image is amazing enough, but the fact that it is physical art that I could potentially display in my room means I'm more likely to actually want to buy and pay for it! Smart!

Sabtastic responds:

Aw thanks! I'm trying to get into more print mediums for exactly that reason. I like the finished product I can hold in my hands. I feel like I've been strictly digital for too long, and this feels weirdly 'safe' from AI fakes and plagiarism. Maybe that's naive to say though lol
