This looks like Dreamworks' Trolls movies combined with Persona 3, I love it!

...Also, sorry in advance for making you lose sleep for the next two nights trying to figure out how I thought this looked kind of like Dreamworks' Trolls movies.

Ironically the lighting reminds me of another Squaresoft game of that era, Final Fantasy VII. Great lighting, I mean!

The backgrounds really add to the piece, I really should try to be less lazy with my own art submissions and their backgrounds.

Also, clearly I've been away from the Pokémon series too long (haven't really played since the Game Boy Advance days). It feels like Game Freak is putting more effort in the female character designs these days than the actual "pocket monster" critters...
