I tried Linux for a bit on one of my Mom’s old work laptops. I was a fan of how much less bloated my distro was compared to Windows 10 and 11 and it did seem most of my FOSS (free and open-source) programs ran a smidge faster on the OS despite the hand-me-down laptop being about a decade old and not having a proper GPU…but I was not a fan of constantly looking up Ubuntu commands just to do stuff that is dead-easy on Windows, and ultimately decided to stick with the Devil I know instead of the one I don’t.

That said, Super Tux Kart was arguably as awesome as Mario Kart and really emphasized how cute many of the FOSS mascots like KDE here is!

DerangedKnite responds:

Its ok, Using linux takes time getting used to, Its how it begins, Its all about looking up commands and how to be able to use them, Give it a few weeks, And I'll guarantee you'll be able to memorize the commands your self, I already have most of arch's commands memorized.

But yes linux is preeeeettty light weight on its own, The Arch and Kde plasma fusion does numbers, And its just sooo amazing. Its definitely worth working with.

Also I remember playing that, And it was pretty fun, Even for an open source game, Also yeah I'm pretty glad konqi and kiki (The mascot for krita) are in the game. They play a huge part in linux as a whole.

...So, do you have to take drugs to come up with these wonderful ideas, or are you blessed to have a naturally-weird brain, even while you're sober?

HorseFolder responds:

somewhere in the middle

Oh, this is good, very good. I love warped, cartoon-y 3D backgrounds, especially since computers have a tendency to make shapes annoyingly perfect and therefore boring (e.g. perfect spheres, cubes, cylinders, etc). Lemme guess, you either learned how to use the Lattice tool to warp these shapes, or the Grab tool in a sculpting program?

EinMeister responds:

I've used lattice in the past, but not much on this project. I give dynamic forms manually.

Dislikes: Boring People

...Uh-oh.

gothicseawitch responds:

It was a personality trait I chose.

You gave her face adorable proportions! Plus, the backgrounds bring it all together!

Finasty responds:

Thanks, i actually want to try something new about the background, by using the app's brushes, and yeah it's looks good, im gonna do it more on later art

Yep, you’ve been watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, haven’t you?

LORDXANDER-NG responds:

its so fucking good....

Optimus Prime: We'll see about that, punk!

HOwLiNG-MAdFoxHatter responds:

I'd watch a toon with Optimus and Superman doing a race xD

Cool pose, cool character design, cool lighting.

VCT responds:

Thank you so much but the credit goes to one of my friends, he did the original drawing i used to make the model

This is definitely a reference to the Gorillaz, but is the title “The World Ends With You” also a reference to the Square Enix game on the Nintendo DS (I guess mobile and the Switch, too, but TWEWY was always made specifically for the Nintendo DS, let’s not kid ourselves here)?

Mabelma responds:

Jajaja yeah, eventhough the song title is in spanish, I didn’t just want to translate it and TWEWY was one of my favorite ds titles so foh sure it’s a reference to it.

Wario is such a perfect fit for your artstyle, especially the Game Boy sprites from Super Mario Land 2 to Wario Land 3!

HOwLiNG-MAdFoxHatter responds:

Tankie~ I love his original sprite from WL:SML2 so much, had such goofy charm x3
