I want to go back to whatever era of Western cartoon executives deciding Ren is "cute" and "sells toys" to the kids. That era in the early 1990's must have been metal.

Reminds me of the SpongeBob episode with Wormy turning into a butterfly and somehow scaring SpongeBob and Patrick until they and the rest of the Bikini Bottom-ites destroy their own city out of irrational fear. I think that terrifying live-action close-up was actually a horsefly instead of a butterfly, from what I've been told.

But anyway, that "scary close-up" joke still has me in stitches to this day, and this variation with Charlie cracks me up, this type of visual gag will never get old for me.

The facial expression really sells this piece. Please...don't disembowel me!!

She looks both threatening and welcoming/friendly at the same time!

Thanks! Kinda fitting to since she's canonically that way! LoL!

Oh man, the muscles on the lady in the back, amusingly juxtaposed by her dainty, cutesy face...(drools)

More…I need more…so much more (to love)!

That wolf is too cute. Could have fooled me!

I’ve personally come to terms with the fact that the news is supposed to be negative and warn us about every little thing, but at the same time it’s our job (not the reporters) to figure out biases plus decide what is worth being concerned about versus what we shouldn’t let ruin our day. Taking breaks from it is good, but I should check up on important things at least once a month so I don’t become callously ignorant of other’s suffering.

Now social media on the other hand…BURN IT ALL DOWN! It makes us all stupider and hasn’t at least been fun or entertaining since 2005 YouTube! Nobody needs it!

Riches? Including a comprehensive dental plan?

I really appreciate you adding the palette at the bottom of the image! It’s a good reminder for me personally about doing so much with so little—in this case, your excellent pixel art with a basic Game Boy palette!

    SuperPhil64 responds:

Thank you! Yeah I find doing these helps me remind me of that too. Sometimes I tend to over complicate and add too many colors or trying to cram too many details in a small area and this reminds me that some times less is more.
