I'm surprised this wasn't a recipe in the Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake.
I can't stop looking at how fuzzy and wooly that sweater looks. Blender's hair/particle system is notoriously hard to work with, so excellent job on the photoreal "wooliness" of the sweater in particular!
FF4 on the Game Boy Advance was my first exposure to the Final Fantasy series, and a great first impression at that. Just imagine going from the rudimentary plots of the early GB Pokemon games (I heard the storytelling improved and peaked in the Nintendo DS-era Pokemon games, to be fair) to playing as a knight conflicted with orders that defy his own personal morals. Everybody looks at me funny suggesting Final Fantasy 4 was one of the best of the best Final Fantasies (it didn't help that help that apparently I played one of the worse ports of the game), but play it yourself, you'll see...
Emotionally-charged pieces have more of an impact when they're rare, mixed in with the typical "fun" stuff. Thanks for sharing this.
I was very worried at first with how people would respond to it, was even part of why hesitated on posting it
Now am relieved to have it out
If this is what the zombie apocalypse will look like, then count me in!
They’d be easy to kill.
I bet this is what they do when no one is looking.

Hooded figure: Re...union.
Cloud: What?
...Yes, I give a bit monthly to ToxicSoul77's Patreon to see more of these chubby 'sonas and OCs from the lady herself. Or just plain awesome illustrations like her Cyberpunk Edgerunners fanart. You did a great job imitating her lovely artstyle!
Also, did you know she animated for a Smiling Friends episode recently?
