I'm just impressed she managed to grow a mustache at all at her young age. Most boys her age would consider themselves lucky just to have a tiny bit of peach fuzz on their chin!

The drawings could use a bit of work, but the writing and story of this comic is actually really cute, so I'll let it slide! Reminds me of my own better dates, though I guess I should get with the times and destroy my mental health with dating apps for the first time since the pandemic lockdown if I want a chance to get as lucky as this guy nowadays, huh?

Also, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the guy saying he'll never date again if his first date doesn't go well sounds so needlessly harsh on himself. Don't deny yourself any chance of finding love again just because ONE date didn't work out and you weren't compatible with each other!

Yeah, the drawings are a bit stiff in some parts, I should've put more life into them rather than having them stand around with little body language. And yeah, Avery not being able to get another date is pretty harsh, he's a kind and naive person and he should be able to get another date no matter what. But it might be because he's never dated anyone before. Besides that, I appreciate the critique!

The fact that I still find random things exploding at the end hilarious at almost 30...I'm such a lightweight when it comes to Internet comedy...

But did he find the legendary One Piece?

Some other pirate got it first :C

Week 2 of me being exposed to these Brazilian Miku memes and I'm actually still loving them, unlike previous fads like WaPeach, Moushley and Italian Tifa. Whoever first designed Miku with tan lines and a bit more meat on her bones (especially her gluteous maximus) did a genuinely fantastic job with this fan art!

This cartoon, along with Cow and Chicken, is probably why my own art style is forever trapped in the 1990's. I was never allowed to watch Ren and Stimpy by my parents growing up (probably for the best considering what we know about John K. now), but somehow Cartoon Network's own "gross-out ugly cartoons" were more palatable.

These traditional outfits are so detailed and gorgeous!

Ironically, I learned "Platonic love" is used incorrectly. It sounds very romantic in the traditional sense, where Plato believed we were all once creatures with 4 arms, 4 legs, etc., but we were separated, so finding our true love is literally finding that "other half" and becoming that one single homunculus again. It even attempts to explain the existence of LGBTQA+ couples in ways ancient religions at the time, such as Christianity, didn't even bother to come up with reasons for, claiming homosexual couples are simple two halves of a body of the same gender, as opposed to the opposite gender, and otherwise no different at all from heterosexual lovers. Fascinating stuff, looking into what "Platonic Love" really is supposed to be!

This seems like a perfect explanation for PLUTONIC Love, though, and also a sick burn. Oooohhhhh...

The forced perspective is awesome! Also, I see Tails Doll lurking in the corner...ready to strike...

She looks like a nervous wreck...like my own pet pup!
