Peaches, peaches, peaches-peaches-peaches...

Finasty responds:

The peaches is ded

I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you some critiques if you really want to improve, please don't take it too hard. I can barely even see these light-gray lines over the white paper. A very quick and easy way you can improve right now is to work contrast. It should take nothing more than a quick Levels or Curves adjustment in Photoshop, Photopea or Gimp to make the lines darker (preferably black) so I can actually see what you drew against the white background.

Better yet, find a brush in your software that gives bold, black lines so that even when you're sketching out the image, you can easily see what's going on. Most software has layers, so it's not like you need to draw really faint pencil lines like on actual paper. The way it generally works is that you draw a "Sketch" layer first using any brush you like, then create an "Inking" layer, lower the opacity of the "Sketch" layer, then on the "Inking" layer you basically trace over your own lines from the "Sketch" layer.

I hope you won't hate me for this critique, but the solution to faint drawings like this are very easy once you figure out the workflow, and hopefully by learning to take criticism (even from trolls, they sometimes have a point, but don't express it in a delicate way), it would only be a matter of time before someone decides you're good enough for the Art Portal!

DerangedKnite responds:

Going to be a tad bit fair here, I don't really care about the score this time here, I only drew this for the sake of it, More of a fun doodle than actually something id put my hard effort o.

But, I can understand about the pen, Personally it doesn't frustrate me much, Maybe I'm someone who is able to see the lines of my faint yet quite pen Or....I am just using said faint and quite pen thinking my lines look good because I don't wanna look at my actual lines, Either way, I agree on the pen being a bit too not visible.

I really should think about switching to another pencil, But there aren't much decent sketch pens in clipstudio really.

Again this is only a short drawing of mine, Its not something I would put much effort onto, I really wish I had a place people would actually bother to care about the sketches that I do, I tried to make a thread, But so far..Nobody cared

Okay, but why are her pants down? Is that allowed on the shooting range? I am but a sissy liberal, so I don't know how these shooting ranges work...

MLeth responds:

Brooke's ways are a mystery.. We'll have to observer her more to understand her!

If the heroes don't immediately shatter his ego by joking he's like Snoopy from Peanuts, I will be disappointed.

RoseTheVixen responds:

Prepare to be disappointed because that idea sucks!

Ahh, Game Boy Color ports, back when companies at least tried to make their games work on more limited hardware. Most of these official "demakes" were still garbage in the end, of course, but they are still more fascinating and interesting garbage than a Switch port of a relatively basic-looking PS4/PS5 game that somehow can't even manage 20 FPS most of the time.

Although between the (briefly) Switch-exclusive fun of Monster Hunter Rise and the fact that the OG Resident Evil 4 still holds up surprisingly well despite getting a remake, I can definitely see modern Capcom pulling off a SF6 demake (and just doing it for the fun and challenge), because modern Capcom is awesome like that, compared to where they were in the 2010's.

Excellent job on this, although I would imagine if this actually existed in a parallel universe, it would be a bit easier to pull off an 8-bit Street Fighter on the Neo Geo Pocket Color than the GBC.

SuperPhil64 responds:

Absolutely, the good ones were an outlier. Likely because the portable version devs were given chump change and a month to make that version. But on the rare occasion they got the time and budget they needed and defied the odds it made for some shockingly good and fascinating games. Like Mario Golf on GBC, Donkey Kong Land3 or Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge. That said SF on a 2 button system is almost bout to play like butts unless the controls are significantly tweaked. I never played the GB and GBA versions, I wonder how they do play.

Not a single one of these images are potential story spoilers, imo.

Still, glad you found a character that you seem to like...a lot...

BlueEspresso responds:

idk- better b safe than sorry

And yes I like him to an unconcerning amount :] nothing to be worried about

So where does Ed stand on the "cool action hero explosion" debate? Does he just walk away without even glancing the explosion like in many Hollywood action movies, or does he coldly watch the destruction he caused with a blank expression like a giant mecha in an old anime?

InsaneDingoArt responds:

Ed would probably take too much enjoyment in the destruction caused to walk away like some kind of bad ass lol. I'm sure he would be really into it.

I will protect her feelings from the mean girls in the hallways!

tomonaku responds:

finally, she can keep her lunch money!

Have you ever played Knuckles Chaotix? Because Bite the Bullet Ant definitely looks like something I would see in that game.

...I haven't played Knuckles Chaotix, btw.

ZHOA responds:

I did a fair bit, it's one of my fav games since little along 3 & Knux, even if it's kinda janky all over ig...

I do really like the sprite art and visuals from Chaotix for sure, that's something i do really like about it...
And yeah pretty much inspired Bite partially, Chaotix and Dynamite Headdy were my main inspos for his Bullet head gimmick...

The original series apparently came out when I was only about 6 months old, I only got to watch a (slightly butchered) English dub of the original series when it re-released on Netflix in 2019, yet even I am of the subjective opinion that the original series and vision of Evangelion is my favorite.

Case in point, I like the extra detail in this "1995" image compared to the versions in the Rebuild series. Still cool that imagery like this subtly changed to emphasize the differences between the original and Rebuild series.

DreamsBellArt responds:

Well said!
