[Ed- BOOM!]

So where does Ed stand on the "cool action hero explosion" debate? Does he just walk away without even glancing the explosion like in many Hollywood action movies, or does he coldly watch the destruction he caused with a blank expression like a giant mecha in an old anime?

Have you ever played Knuckles Chaotix? Because Bite the Bullet Ant definitely looks like something I would see in that game.

I did a fair bit, it's one of my fav games since little along 3 & Knux, even if it's kinda janky all over ig...

I do really like the sprite art and visuals from Chaotix for sure, that's something i do really like about it...
And yeah pretty much inspired Bite partially, Chaotix and Dynamite Headdy were my main inspos for his Bullet head gimmick...

The original series apparently came out when I was only about 6 months old, I only got to watch a (slightly butchered) English dub of the original series when it re-released on Netflix in 2019, yet even I am of the subjective opinion that the original series and vision of Evangelion is my favorite.

Case in point, I like the extra detail in this "1995" image compared to the versions in the Rebuild series. Still cool that imagery like this subtly changed to emphasize the differences between the original and Rebuild series.

Clearly drawing on paper is still your greatest strength (though don't give up digital art, drawing on paper and drawing on a tablet will feel exactly the same after a while, trust this Internet stranger!). However, I think it would help a ton if you used the Curves adjustment tool in Photoshop, Gimp or Krita to make the pencil lines darker and easier to see, or draw over the pencil lines with a bold, black pen (though some color-correction in a photo editor may still be necessary).

EDIT: Wow, Clip Studio Paint must have some excellent brushes that emulate pencils perfectly! I guess just be patient and try to master one single aspect of the drawing process at a time, this stuff takes years of practice and helpful critiques before you can even call yourself a semi-pro.

Oh, I did this sketch entirely on clipstudio haha! I have been drawing digitally for 2 months now, Iam getting comfortable with it, But not enough for it to be my greatest strength, I am struggling way more with shading than anything else right now, I always make a decent way of shading, Yet I feel something is off, Either way, I am not giving up on this, I have waited for long for my drawing tablet to be there, And I am not going to drop it at anytime

I use Clip studio's Vector layer to edit some lines and so on with pen pressure too, All I wanna know is how to draw proper shaders and backgrounds and I should be fine and dandy.

I wanna up my shading game even more, And I am even currently struggling with trying to adapt artstyle to poses, I am heavily relying on drawing just characters

Thanks! I like how this one came out too!

However, I do believe you're incorrect. The M rating is 17+, and NG rules state that if it's not overly sexual nude above the waist it is appropriate for the M rating- and I'd say this one specifically is artistic nudity and not sexual nudity.

I feel like I would have enjoyed the Evangelion series better if I had seen it when I was closer to Shinji's age. As it stands, I think he is a whiny little quitter even when taking into account the lack of good male role models in his life (outside of MAAAYYYBE Mr. Kaji) and the best girl for me is just Misato Katsuragi because I'm not a pedophile that would even consider partaking in Asuka vs. Rei arguments at my age.

Oh, and the art here is pretty cool here, too, btw. Great colors!

I watched evangelion when I was 15 So I can sort of relate into somethings, Yeah for me I find shinji relatable, His flawed and he tries to improve just like me, He is heavily flawed and personally, Thats what makes him special for me. Because you can see in that person who flawed they are, Just like you, But I Feel like shinji was meant to be relatable to anyone, Maybe it was me, I did watch it around the time covid was striking at its time and I was not feeling at my best..So maybe that was the case in the first place? Who knows

I don't get much into that you know girl stuff..Yeah umm, And as for the drawing, Yeah it does look good, But something tells me I didn't do well, I know I shouldn't upload everything I work on, But, I wanted to show this since I Was trying out custom poses, And I wanna see, How much people think of my anime art style? And how can I amp it even more?
