Now draw Maya as happy as the other two!

Catinyt responds:

I can do it! For some food...(?

I like the noodly legs!

InsaneDingoArt responds:

lol! thanks! :D

Me when my recent professional animations on YouTube get less views than my poorly-made cartoons from when I was 16 because COPPA and Logan Paul or whatever happened in between and I alone have to suffer the consequences as a result. My only recommendation is to use social media mainly just for (slightly) increasing the chances some big animation or game studio will discover your art and hire you. Getting in the industry is brutal, but at least you will make a surprisingly-meaty income, especially if you work in LA. It’s not worth it (or even possible for animators) to try to play the algorithm game and attempt to make money from Big Tech companies that really just want you to give their platforms high-effort content for free.

ZeTrystan responds:

Yeah... it's sad though. I'm not trying to find work really, I mostly want to interact with people. But it's hard to do when there's less and less people to interact with. Eh boboy.

I was wondering “how does this look so CUTE?!” But then I saw this was from Nabella and it all became clear to me.

Nabella responds:

It's my shtick!

Butt-chins will never not be funny to me! Great job on all these!

InsaneDingoArt responds:

lol! thanks alot! :P

American animators finally made a waifu. I never thought I’d see the day!

Catinyt responds:

Haha yeah, it had to happen someday

This is how the PS1 port should have looked. It would have at least justified the longer loading times of that version, although practically every Chrono Trigger port since then is superior in every way. I personally grew up with the DS Version!

SuperPhil64 responds:

I grew up on the SNES version(rented it constantly), and after the N64 came out it was almost impossible to find a copy of it. I remember being really excited when I found out my friend had the PS1 version, being extremely excited at the new cut scenes, and then immediately baffled at there being load times to get into battles lol. Thankfully I discovered emulation around that time too.

I told you she was painting ART.

InsaneDingoArt responds:

lol! I mean i guess you ain't wrong.

Someone’s been watching a lot of South Park, lately!

HorseFolder responds:

yep

This is a fantastic aesthetic. If you don't mind some constructive criticism, I think you should work on the shader a bit to make it look more like rope or fabric. As it stands, the specular sheen kind of makes it look like Twizzler candies instead of yarn (although that would honestly look super-creative if you can make it look more like an intentional design choice that adds to the story or animation).

Finally, regarding the turnaround, I've found in my own attempts at posting simple 3D turnarounds in the Movie Portal that people do NOT like seeing videos that do not have complex stories, do not need sound and voice acting, or come across as experimental shitposts, despite such shorter videos being the norm on TikTok, Twitter and practically any social media site younger than Facebook and especially Newgrounds--and they will let you know with bad reviews. Personally I think this "Boomer" mentality of gatekeeping against shorter videos and only celebrating long videos made by professional teams is bad for creativity/experimentation and will hinder the chances of someone on this site making Newgrounds relevant once more by encouraging someone to struggle to make the next "Friday Night Funkin'" or "Smiling Friends", similar how Hollywood and traditional media continues to quash any signs of innovation from creative types in the industry, but it is what it is, and it may be better to just post turnaround renders on YouTube and especially ArtStation and share the link in the much-more forgiving Art Portal.

NathanDzul responds:

Yooo thank you for the feedback, currently im just experimenting with blender watching some tutorial and trying to do something interesting with it, and yeah, the fabric does look a bit weird, specially with how the texture streches to the sides qwq
also yeah, it did not go very well with the turnaround video, so next time ill upload it to my youtube so hopefully it works better there, in a certain way it made sense but i was not prepared with the reception it had, even my first songs here (that were awful) didnt have that sort of score....although they didnt even have any score to begin with so
