This was hilarious on YouTube, and it’s hilarious on Newgrounds (though the Newgrounds version would have had more impact if it released at the same time as the YouTube version). Don’t tell me the producers were fine with Speedy Gonzales and Yosemite Sam’s guns, but not Pepe Le Frog.

Famous Newgrounds artists banding together just to make animations less polished than what a single 12-year-old would make on their phone with the free version of Flipaclip (GAAAAAASP) is my new obsession.

good thing i am both 12 and use flipaclip

Funny. I was thinking about, after watching “Passion of the Kirb,” “I forgot how much King Dedede sounded like Foghorn Leghorn in Right Back Ya!” Then you go and post an actual Foghorn Leghorn parody the next day! Also, how is a woman with fat breasts any better or worse than a woman with a fat belly? They’re going to develop back problems later in life either way. Finally, brilliant reference to THAT Eva episode at the very end.

I would argue that “vegan” food tastes like meat to entice the “meat only” crowd to eating more veggies, which is of course less likely to make you fat and also supposedly better for the environment even if you don’t buy organic. So I’m sorry, Pilz-E, I have to disagree entirely and argue that meat-tasting veggies are “gateway vegan lifestyles.” Very entertaining nonetheless, and I absolutely love that the squirrels are ranting about this to a lady that clearly has no trouble eating meat, just because she’s a “human” like vegans are “humans.” Wow. Stereotyping the entire human race much?

I related hard to that bit about retail before the credits. I related even harder to her singing “DAAAAAAY-TONA” like a true SEGA nerd after the credits. A woman after me own heart.

Very cute, although obviously it needs more polish (at least some clean line art) if you want to earn decent reviews from the surprisingly-picky Movie Portal audience, but the character designs are certainly charming and full of life just from the sketches. Have you ever tried RPG Maker? That’s probably the fastest way to turn this into an actual turn-based RPG, though be warned that even straightforward/visual programming requires more patience than even animation.

Shadow-Animator-JLG responds:

Thank you for your review, and yeah, I used to make games in RPG Maker XP long time ago, sadly its limitations are a challenge to adapt an idea to a game.

Trying to be positive in this day and age be like:

The art style reminds me of the Rankin-Bass Frosty the Snowman cartoon.

Kids are still into this? That’s kinda sus.

These Loose Ends cartoons are so refreshingly wholesome and pleasant to watch on a site like Newgrounds!
