I related hard to that bit about retail before the credits. I related even harder to her singing “DAAAAAAY-TONA” like a true SEGA nerd after the credits. A woman after me own heart.

Very cute, although obviously it needs more polish (at least some clean line art) if you want to earn decent reviews from the surprisingly-picky Movie Portal audience, but the character designs are certainly charming and full of life just from the sketches. Have you ever tried RPG Maker? That’s probably the fastest way to turn this into an actual turn-based RPG, though be warned that even straightforward/visual programming requires more patience than even animation.
Thank you for your review, and yeah, I used to make games in RPG Maker XP long time ago, sadly its limitations are a challenge to adapt an idea to a game.
Trying to be positive in this day and age be like:
The art style reminds me of the Rankin-Bass Frosty the Snowman cartoon.
Kids are still into this? That’s kinda sus.
These Loose Ends cartoons are so refreshingly wholesome and pleasant to watch on a site like Newgrounds!
“Broken as Intended” Social Darwinism seems to be a running theme with @AndyL4nd ‘s videos...
If you’re not getting calls from Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks as a result of this top-notch animation, then clearly it means you’re TOO good for the mainstream American animation industry. I’m definitely showing this to my parents so they stop bugging me to rush my own 3D animations, clearly making something THIS good takes a ton of time to do. Hopefully you at least get to re-use a lot of these assets in the future, though…
Thanks! And yeah, these will be the models I use for these characters onwards.
Jeez, and I thought the California Recall ads were irritating...
So stylish! The Dog Days of Summer would be a lot more bearable if they looked like this!
Oh you bet (;
