Famous Newgrounds artists banding together just to make animations less polished than what a single 12-year-old would make on their phone with the free version of Flipaclip (GAAAAAASP) is my new obsession.

good thing i am both 12 and use flipaclip
Very cute, although obviously it needs more polish (at least some clean line art) if you want to earn decent reviews from the surprisingly-picky Movie Portal audience, but the character designs are certainly charming and full of life just from the sketches. Have you ever tried RPG Maker? That’s probably the fastest way to turn this into an actual turn-based RPG, though be warned that even straightforward/visual programming requires more patience than even animation.
Thank you for your review, and yeah, I used to make games in RPG Maker XP long time ago, sadly its limitations are a challenge to adapt an idea to a game.
If you’re not getting calls from Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks as a result of this top-notch animation, then clearly it means you’re TOO good for the mainstream American animation industry. I’m definitely showing this to my parents so they stop bugging me to rush my own 3D animations, clearly making something THIS good takes a ton of time to do. Hopefully you at least get to re-use a lot of these assets in the future, though…
Thanks! And yeah, these will be the models I use for these characters onwards.
So stylish! The Dog Days of Summer would be a lot more bearable if they looked like this!
Oh you bet (;
Jeez, thanks for raising the bar impossibly high for us 3D artists! But no, the animation and facial expressions were the stuff of legends, and will inspire me to take more time and effort on my next 3D animation!
Thanks very much! I'm excited to see what you come up with.
Adorable and hilarious! The only reason I think this is only averaging 3 stars at the moment is because, as I’ve personally found out the hard way, Newground’s Movie Portal only really seems to give good reviews to long, full-length animations that are arguably superior to cartoons on TV and streaming. Hopefully my five stars bump up the average a bit!
Thanks so so much! So glad you like it!!! =) Oh wow! I didn't know that about the portal, that's super helpful information! I seriously appreciate that!!! You're too kind!!!
Squidward’s head was funny at the beginning.
I’m currently working on a SpongeBob reanimated scene myself. I should probably just ask the director, but what is the general etiquette regarding uploading my own scene to my own socials?
Here is the discord for the Dying for Pie Reanimated: https://discord.gg/vjG43Sm. DM the host (Micro-K) and show him your previous animations. Once he accepts you in, animate your scene and send it to him. Finally, post in on the #finished-scenes channel and post it onto every social media site you have, and tag #dyingforpiereanimated. Hope this helps! :)

Reminds me of OLD old school South Park at times.
thanks so much! SP is one of my favorite toons, im glad it gave off those vibes!
I’m sorry for being the bad guy, but I personally thought this was just okay. I was kind of expecting more Sr. Pelo screams and grotesque faces, just like his Mokey Show videos.
It's ok! I like to try different kinds of comedy plus I like this game so I really made this out of love than just being crazy!!!
I didn’t know you could animate!
Yeah! You should go check out my other animations here or on YouTube when you get the chance!
Hi, my name is Jeffrey Thrash. You may know me from my YouTube channel. I enjoy video games and cartoons and I like to create my own animations. Enjoy!
