I thought this was an actual mascot for a mascot platformer back in the '90's that was trying to ride off the early Sonic games' success--especially with the grid background reminding me of SEGA Master System box art!
This kangaroo seems like he would be much cooler than Kao the Kangaroo (especially the "reboot" version of him in the recent-ish Switch and PC game--the less said about that game's writing pandering to Gen Z, the better), that's for sure...
it does doesn't it? i like the design alot too but it isn't from a series specifically. its just a friends oc :) she takes alot of inspiration from classic Japanese media
Oh no, don't tell me Canada has its own fattening, greasy cuisine...

The best part is that Paradise herself is clearly in pure bliss, too, not just the guy. Is there anything better than mutual attraction?
Love is wonderful and should be experienced by all. 💖
Any relation to Jill of the Jungle?
I don't think there is... I'll have to look it up
Thought I was looking at a 3D render when I first looked at the tiny thumbnail. That's how good your understanding of light when working in Clip Studio Paint seems to be!
Thanks for the feedback! I always take it as a compliment when someone says that my art looks like a 3D render! If only I could actually work in Blender the same way, but I need to take the time to learn!
I appreciate it!
Oh hey, you're alive and back with a sick background drawing in particular! Ever consider specializing in backgrounds, like seriously, that cafe background is absolutely amazing--and of course, a lot of artists (myself included) tend to be too lazy to enjoy making backgrounds or anything that requires strong perspective skills ourselves, so you may even have better luck and less competition commissioning background designs, compared to the countless character artists, here!
i don't plan on doing commissions. too busy and exughsted from my day job as a donation door attendant at goodwill i still work at. i do art purely as a hobby. my art isn't even that good to even have anyone interested to begin with. but thank you for the warm words and i appreciate it!
Okay, so these are all amazing...
Thank you very much! 😊
Owie...
tis but a scratch
