What's with all these absolute masterpieces from you lately?

Troisnyx responds:

I outdid myself, and then outdid myself again /gen 🥺

Not gonna complain, I'm just hoping it helps me down the line

They look sleep-deprived...

MacuMa responds:

Hana (the girls sitting down) is definitely a night owl, as for Nana I have no clue

Okay, that's an impressive amount of work. Great job!

ZeTrystan responds:

Thank you!
It... it was. Dear lordy I didn't expect for it to take so much time to make ahah.

Pico after playing one of "The World Ends with You" games. Or at least the TWEWY world in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. No one can resist Nomura-san's excessive zippers.

bl00dy-seraphim617 responds:

I LOVE THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU AESTHETIK ^_^

I've been privately dabbling in pixel art again to see if it improves my character designs (makes them more readable/simpler on the eyes, even at a low resolution).

You won't have to worry about competition from me anytime soon, but I can see why you enjoy doing pixel art so much, now!

SuperPhil64 responds:

No such thing as competition, the more the merrier!

I definitely agree about Pixel art being good to improve other skills like char design or anatomy etc. I find when drawing I can get too focused/bogged down on unimportant details, and with pixel art every pixel matters (at a low enough resolution anyways haha). So it gives you a better idea of what really matters and what's best to pay attention to. I know my drawing skills improved tons after I got back heavily into pixel art.

Actually one of the areas I'm weak in is landscapes and environments, and doing them in pixels was so much easier and so much fun that now that I've done a tone of those, It gave me enough experience to be able to feel confident to draw more appealing environments traditionally that I didn't have before.

Hope you keep having fun drawing and learning on your pixel art journey!

Coincidentally, April 15th was Leonardo da Vinci's birthday.

jarzardart responds:

I was not aware of that! that's awesome.

Ah yes, the Mario game with the..."other" kind of inflation. You'll know what I'm talking about when you fill Petey Piranha's belly with FLUDD water and ground-pound his outie bellybutton that pops out to defeat him. This game was WEIRD, even by Super Mario standards!

HOwLiNG-MAdFoxHatter responds:

It is such a weird one, but it does make is stand out, especially with how organic the levels feel

Bored, sexy cosplayers, I assume.

strangermen responds:

idk xd

I'm sure the sheer amount of cool shade you're providing to like half the beach is appreciated, though.

ZeTrystan responds:

A good samaritan! (except for that one on the left who looked like he wanted to sunbathe)

I think she's saying, "Baby hungry. Baby want pizza."

LilStank0 responds:

Correction, its me saying that lolll
