This episode has aged very well. Thankfully, as dumb as the customers at my grocery store are, they don’t seem to ever buy all the dumb, needlessly negative tabloids about the British royal family. Not that National Enquirer is even remotely better, but...progress?

This is so incredibly charming! It reminds me of the Wallace and Gromit shorts I used to watch as a wee lad. I especially like all the eye-related visual gags like when the red guy had an octopus on his head and a couple of his tentacles acted as "surrogate eyebrows" or when the captain saw the shark coming through his telescope, but then it is revealed he was looking through his blind eye! The mermaid, of course was a babe, either that or I'm just THAT desperate. Fantastic work all around and a great reminder as to why claymation is a fun and interesting way to tell stories!
