[News : Foamy The Squirrel]

Can’t say I completely agree with this video, but then I saw it was an old episode from 2006. From a 2021 perspective, I can come up with plenty more relevant reasons why the news sucks: 1) it turns our own parents against us by making pretty every new thing (or old thing now in the case of Facebook or smartphones) sound scary and life-ruining. Seriously, why are my parents still uncomfortable with my screen time when I’m 26 and I have to spend a lot of time in front of a laptop FOR WORK? 2) They have clear biases for one party or race or gender and always blame “the other” for problems that have nothing to do with politics, like the current pandemic. CNN and talk show hosts were probably secretly hoping they could get people riled up about Trump for four more years and are clearly struggling to prove that they can take centrist Democrats to task in a similar fashion, while Fox News just got a new lease on life getting angry old racists riled up about Twitter Cancel Culture for 4-8 years. 3) They reinforce the worst aspects of capitalism by continuing to make us suffer from rich people’s mistakes, conflating socialism with the more extreme and unrealistic communism, creating literal race or gender wars to deflect blame away from people who actually caused the problem and have the power to fix it, and make preserving “the economy” a higher priority than solving climate change or giving the poor any upward mobility by essentially asking us to give Jeff Bezos more money and ask for none of that money in return.

It could have been a year but this was actually my third attempt. First two times didn't look to great animation wise and I changed the character designs after a while. Plus I took a 4 month break because I had cancelled it at a certain point due to personal life stuff
