Until we get an anime as hype as Gurren Lagann + Kill la Kill, Kill la Kill will still be my favorite anime and the last one I really took the time (and money in the case of a Crunchyroll subscription) to watch. It hurts to think KlK is a decade old now.

This goes well with Hooloopee's excellent recent animation overlaying Alex Jones's typical insane right-wing rants over animation of Dr. Neo Cortex, only for Cortex to be effortlessly defeated by Crash. Comedy gold, as well as a tacit acknowledgement we can't possibly make fictional characters as cartoonishly-evil and stupid as real-life people.

The more-detailed one on the right kind of appeals to my aesthetic tastes more, to be honest, but both are great (and I imagine the more-simplified one on the left is easier to draw in big comics and animations)!
