So the next time I feel anxious, make the next End of Evangelion. Got it.

But in all seriousness, this is a question I’ve been asking myself recently: Why is it, in dark times, that society as a whole insists on fighting the negativity by being MORE negative? When I try to be positive, I’m not in denial of bad things happening in the world, I just think we’re more effective at stopping some of those bad things when we are not in a state of hopelessness, thus I need to work hard to brighten up (or at least neutralize) the room so people don’t wallow in sadness and bring me down with them…

I try not to let my perpetual sense of dread affect me or especially other people around me who could use someone more optimistic in their circle of friends, but this is exactly the type of dreams and thoughts I have to deal with as someone with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). Trying to stay informed with the news for the past 8 or so years while also trying to tell the difference between actual news and partisan opinions has particularly been a challenge, although I suppose people who aren’t diagnosed with any form of chronic anxiety have to cope with journos and politicians profiting off of fear equally as much…

Nothing will ever quite top the simplicity of the original Spooky Month for me, but this was quite funny and very beautifully animated!

Everyone’s motivations in this parody, especially Clarice’s, makes a lot more sense than in the Rankin Bass movie! Also, something about her Dad forcing her to be nice to the “special” kid at first cracks me up!

A Karen saving the day instead of ruining it? Unrealistic!

Amazing how much story you were able to tell with just easy-to-read expressions and movement! Merry Christmas!

That ending made me feel personally attacked. It was like the bird was judging me for not being nearly as cool.

Also: is that his butt hanging on his lower back or his massive pubes?

Democracy! I fully understand how you tend to feel during election years. I made my own (decidely more panicky) “vote” video during the United States 2020 election, and even though I didn’t specify which candidate I wanted to win, it had unfortunately gotten to the point in the US where simply telling people to vote and reducing barriers to said voting is a highly bitter wedge issue, since saner, kinder candidates are more likely to win with less gerrymandering or Voter ID shenanigans. But I did it anyway because while voting is essentially just picking between the lesser of the two evils for many people, it is EXTREMELY important that the lesser evil that is willing to listen to the feedback to his or her people wins during life-threatening global crises like the coronavirus pandemic. Best of luck to the Chilean population and your/our sanity!

Thanks a lot for the words and the support, man! 🙏❤

Anime-style characters animated like 90’s Disney movie characters is something I’ve always wanted to see. So incredibly smooth!

That ending could not have been more awesome. Who needs Sonic’s power when you have THAT?
