Yay! Let's pretend we still have freedoms one day after the current Administraion gutted our affordable healthcare and food stamps while drastically increasing ICE's ability to deport us just for making fun of the President the same way we made fun of previous Presidents!

..."Nationalism" is kind of a silly and quaint concept anyway. What, I'm supposed to just curl up and cry just because the government who shares the same national borders as I do is constantly making decisions I disagree with? I'm proud of myself for not letting this stuff stop me from making cool art, as well as appreciate cool art like yours, and I'm proud of my specific town for standing up against the national government right now!

EDIT: I'm sorry for being a Negative Nancy (Pelosi) for even bringing this stuff up--I just literally noticed Mt. Fuji in the background right now. It's not even your fault, it's just that the current Administration's cruel-on-purpose deadline to pass a bill that will hurt their own voters the most economically right before we're supposed to celebrate our country ensures anything remotely "American" will strike a nerve these days.

woah, i did not mean for this art to be taken in any political way despite how its drawn, im really sorry for touching a nerve like that. i wasnt even thinking of that aspect of it when drawing and only focused on the visual that i intended as a joke (since theyre both shown to be standing in japan here) i dont like talking politics and i never intend any specific political messages in my art since mine is meant generally as an escape from things in life. really sorry about that
